I have 7 company vehicles and recently needed service on our Mercedes Sprinter. In the past, I have taken vehicles with transmission issues to other shops and they have immediately stated it has to be replaced without even looking at it closely. Jason personally reviewed our vehicle and let us know he was going to try to repair rather than replace. He was able to repair it quickly which saved our company thousands of dollars. Honesty goes a long way in building customer loyalty. I recommend Jason and Suburban Transmissions to anyone with transmission issues.
I have a 2004 Nissan Maxima. I was told by the Nissan dealer that I need my transmission replaced. I considered trading in my car. I read the reviews about Surburban Transmission. They diagnosed my transmission problem as being a valve body replacement, not a transmission replacement. They saved me a lot of money. I am very pleased with their work, knowledge, and professionalism.
Excellent job by Jason and crew to get my 2005 Toyota 4Runner back up and running in top shape. I appreciate the care they took in finding the problem and saving me from having to get a whole new transmission....or worst having to trade it in on another car and ultimately having a car payment.
I dealt with Jason at Suburban Transmissions, very honest, was willing to work with me financially, told me what my options were. Brought my Volvo XC90 for a new transmission, my 4th, Jason fixed it, but discovered that while I was taking my vehicle to Volvo of Edison, NJ for oil changes etc. they did not change the oil filters, therefore, the deposits of oil from the old filters also damaged the engine. Jason went above and beyond to repair the damage to the engine not charging me for the engine work because, we did not see that coming. I would recommend anyone to go there, he is really first rate.
