We had a transmission that unexpectedly starting spewing fluid during a road trip. Mike was able to figure out the cause and give us a good strategy for addressing the problem without spending a lot of money. In sum, they have friendly staff, good diagnostics, and no pressure to pay for what you do not need! - Gary A (5 star review found on Yelp)
Excellent! Absolutely the best work and customer service. Mike replaced the transmission in our 2001 Nissan Pathfinder for a quarter of what was quoted from other garages and warrantied his work. No frills, professional, all business, and incredibly experienced and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him if you need a new transmission. - Mari N (5 star review found on Yelp)
The guys at Suburban Transmission did excellent work on our aging 2005 Mercury Mariner SUV after it left gears 2 and 4 somewhere on I-95. Any shop can bolt in a remanufactured transmission, it's the details that make great shops stand out...and Suburban is a great shop. They found a corroded metal fluid pipe that hadn't failed yet, replaced it for no extra $ while they had it apart. I gave approval to replace the wheel bearings if needed, they inspected them and said they were fine. No up-selling, which is a rare surprise. The team at Suburban went the extra mile to have it done on schedule, it runs like new, I can't say enough good about them. - Kevin D (5 star review found on Yelp)
I bought Diamond Warranty with a used car I purchased. There 90% negative (less than 2 stars) review about they're not honoring. Suburban Transmission worked with Diamond Warranty and got my transmission replaced covered. I was surprised. - Uhsen L (5 star review found on Google)
Recommend SUBURBAN Transmission... Valve Body Nissan Maxima 2006 SE. I have had the extreme jerk, and very unpleasant ride with my maxima for almost a year now. I took it to the Nissan dealer and they told me they had to replace my transmission for $4000+. I thought of selling my car, I still did some research as to what it would take to fix my car. Did a random Google search and landed on Suburban. Needless to say, I was impressed with service I got for fixing my car. Told me about the valve body that needed to be replaced and not my transmission. I spent half what the dealer wanted me to spend on replacing my transmission. I would recommend this shop to any person that owns a Maxima and has a similar problem. This is the best my car has felt and driven in a long time. The reviews speak for themselves! - Frederick A (5 star review found on Google)
Mike & Eddie - What lifesavers! My 00 Mustang was sitting for awhile (I have another car for work, so the Mustang isn't not much of a daily driver now) & when I started it up, it had trouble going foward & in reverse.
